DAY 1: DEPART U.S.AYou’ll leave this evening on an overnight flight to Rome.
DAY 2: ROMEArrivel in Rome in the morning. You are met by your tour director and transferred to your hotel. Enroute we stop for Holy Mass at St. Paul Outside the Walls and for a picture opportunity at the Colliseum. Overnight in Rome. (D.)
DAY 3: ROME- (Wednesday)We attend the Papal Audience in the morning. Our afternoon tour includes highlights of Christian Rome, St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Mary Major , St. John the Lateran and Holy Stairs. Overnight in Rome. (B.D.)
DAY 4 : PIETRELCINA-SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO![]() Padre Pio
DAY 5: SAN GIOVANNIOur great privilege today is to visit the sacred places associated with one of the greatest Saints of the 20th century, St. Pio of Pietralcina (Padre Pio) 1887-1968. We visit his tomb, where we have a Mass, his confessional, the Capuchin Monastery of Our Lady of Grace the beautiful new Church Santa Maria Delle Grazia and the home for the Relief of the suffering. This evening we depart for Bari where we board our ship and settle into cabins for on overnight trip on the Adriatic Sea. (Breakfast and dinner on the ferry are on your own). (B.)
DAY 6: DUBROVNIK- MEDJUGORJEArrive early in the morning and disembark in Dubrovnik, the most beautiful jewel of the Adriatic. We visit the walled “Old City”. Our special tour guide will take us to the ancient Franciscan and Dominican monasteries, the cathedral with its precious relics e.g. a one foot piece of the True Cross, the church of St. Blaise, where we will have our throats blessed. After our tour and some free time to shop and explore, we have lunch on our own and depart for Medjugorje. We arrive Medjugorje mid afternoon and will be graciously received by our host family whose pension will be our home for our four days here. Overnight Medjugorje. (D)
DAY 7/ 8/9 :MEDJUGORJE![]() Dubrovnik
DAY 10: MEDJUGORJE-SPLITAfter morning activities and lunch we depart for Split. En-route we stop at Little Lourdes of Croatia and Our Lady of Sinj, to see the niraculous paiting of Our Lady Full of Grace. Following a visit to the town of Split we board the ship to Ancona. Overnight accommodations in cabins. (Breakfast and Dinner on your own). (B.)
DAY 11: ANCONA-LORETO- ASSISIWe arrive Ancona early and upon disembarkation leave for Loreto to see the Holy House of Nazareth, which legend tells us was transported here from the Holy Land. In it you have a chance to view the most reproduced Madonna in the world: the Black Madonna of Loreto. In the afternoon we arrive in Assisi, the town of St. Francis and St. Clare. We celebrate Holy Mass at the Basilica, and time permitting, visit the churches of St. Clare, Santa Maria Degli Angeli and San Damiano. Overnight in Assisi. (B.D.)
DAY 12: Return to U.S.ATransfer to the airport for your flight home (B)
