DAY 1- Depart USA
Depart USA on an overnight flight to Split
Day 2 - SPLIT
Welcome to Croatia. You are greeted by your tour escort and transferred to the hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to become acclimated to a new time zone, and to relax. Overnight Split. Dinner in a local restaurant.
DAY 3 -SPLIT - BOL Island of Brac
Morning sightseeing of Diocletian`s Palace, including Peristyle Jupiter`s Temple and the Cathedral. We then board a ferry for a short ride from Split to Brac. Upon arrival to Supetar drive to Bol via Vidova gora for lunch at the local rustic restaurant, where we will taste the specialties of the area, along with local wine. Winetasting of the red Bolski plavac at the Bol winery. Overnight Bol. (B.L.D.).
DAY 4- BOL Island of Brac - HVAR
We visit the Blaca Bay hermitage embedded in a high, steep cliff, and have time at leisure on this lovely island. In the afternoon we embark on another boat ride to Jelsa, on the island of Hvar. We have a tour of Hvar and a visit to the local winery for a taste of autochthonous sorts Bogdanusa and Faros. Overnight Hvar. (B.D.)
DAY 5 -HVAR
Depart for Plancic winery and choose among the red wines Darnekusa and Pharion, white wines Bogdanusa, Prc and Slavogost or rose wine Opolo. Lunch at the Plenkovic winery in the ecologically clean area Hvarska beach followed by tasting of the best known Hvar wines, Zlatan plavac and Zlatan otok. Overnight Hvar. (B.L.D.)
DAY 6 -HVAR- KORCULA
Arrive to Korcula in time for lunch. Upon sightseeing of St Mark`s Cathedral and the 15th century Arneri palace, depart for a Lumbarda winery to enjoy a taste of the white wine Grk, the cultivation of which probably began in 500 B.C by the Greeks. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight Korcula (B.D.)
DAY 7- KORCULA - PELJESAC - DUBROVNIK
Depart for Cara and Smokvica region, Dalmatia`s leading producer of high quality white wines Posip, Marastina and Rukatac. After winetasting and lunch, ferry ride to Orebic on peninsula of Peljesac, the best known Croatian region for growing of high quality red wines Dingac and Postup.Visit to the famous Grgic family vinery. Grgic family made their name in California and have now transplanted their experience to this rich land. Indulge all your senses tonights with a seafood dinner in Ston, with local wine, and a soft Adriatic breeze. Overnight Dubrovnik. (B.L.D.)
DAY 8- DUBROVNIK -
Enjoy the beauty of the walled city in a walking tour including (Rector`s palace, Franciscan and Dominican monasteries, Cathedral). Afternoon is at leisure.Tonight we depart for the Konavle valley, renowed for its original stone architecture and handicraft, for a folkoric dinner at the national restaurant Konavoski dvori. Overnight Dubrovnik. (B.D.)
DAY 9- DUBROVNIK
Day at leisure, or take the opportunity to visit the incomparable resort island of Sveti Stefan and Lovcen Monument in Montenegro. Overnight Dubrovnik. (B.)
DAY 10 DUBROVNIK- USA
You are transferred to the airport and your flight home. (B).
