BASIC 4 DAY PASSION PLAY PROGRAM

This 4 day program can be combined with any other program you may want from our web site or a custom designed program.

DAY 1: DEPART U.S.A.

Depart this evening on an overnight flight to Munich.


DAY 2: MUNICH

Arrive in the capital of Bavaria and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure to become acclimated to a new time zone. In the evening we have a typical Bavarian "Good Time" with traditional food, beer, wine and music. Overnight Munich. (B.)


DAY 3: BAVARIA- OBERAMmERGAU

Today enjoy a tour of one of the prettiest areas in Germany, as we tour Bavaria visiting one of Mad Ludwig's castles (either Linderhof or Neuschwanstein), the beautiful rococo church in Weis and then the wood carvers village of Oberammergau. (B.D.)


DAY 4: THE PASSION PLAY

The highlight of your trip, and for many an experience of a lifetime, will be today's Passion Play. Started 367 years ago, it is still an authentic portrayal depicting the last week of the life of Christ. The play takes place at an outdoor stage, and the actors are people from the village who have prepared for their roles for many years. The following Play will not take place until 2020. DAY 5:

Continue of the program of your choice or transfer back to Munich airport for flight home. (B.)
